What is today called “Thai massage” or “Thai yoga massage” is an ancient healing system combining acupressure, Indian Ayurvedic principles, and assisted yoga postures.
The practice is essentially a form of assisted yoga performed by the giver, with the receiver completely passive throughout.The purpose is to re balance the ten energy lines – sen sib- that cross the body, according to Traditional Thai medicine . Its gentle stretching and its pressures along the whole body gives a pleasant feeling of relaxation and re-balance energy.
Certified diploma of Traditional Thai massage level I from the TMC SCHOOL of Chiang Mai Thailand. Included in the course is the affiliation to the school mentioned where you can continue with your studies on this subject.
